\u00c1ron G\u00e1bor - Artillery Officer of the 2nd Szekler Regiment<\/h1>

\u00c1ron G\u00e1bor (b. 27 November 1814, Bre\u021bcu, Covasna - d. 2 July 1849, Chichi\u0219, Covasna) was an artillery officer of the Second Szekler Infantry Regiment, a hero of the Hungarian Revolution of 1848. This paper will focus on the life of Aron Gabor and his contribution to the Hungarian Revolution of 1848.<\/p>

Biography of Aron Gabor<\/h2>

Aron Gabor was born on 27 November 1814 in Bre\u021bcu, Covasna, the son of a reformed priest. At the age of 15, Aron Gabor was conscripted into the Szekler infantry regiment and served as an artillery officer for ten years.<\/p>

Aron Gabor's participation in the Hungarian Revolution of 1848<\/h2>

After hearing about the uprising in Transylvania, Aron Gabor joined the Hungarian troops in Targu Secuiesc and helped the Hungarian troops retreat when they were attacked by the Austrian army. Later that year, Aron Gabor fought in the Battle of Chichi\u0219 in Covasna, where the Hungarian Revolution was defeated.<\/p>

Aron Gabor's contribution to the Hungarian Revolution<\/h2>

Aron Gabor made a significant contribution to the Hungarian Revolution of 1848 through his participation in the withdrawal of Hungarian troops from Szekler town<\/a> and his battles at Chichi\u0219. He also contributed to strengthening the feeling of Hungarian nationalism among the soldiers of the Szekler regime by his example of courage and loyalty to the cause of the revolt.<\/p>
